How do I get my vehicle back?

If your vehicle was removed from the public highway because it was without a valid tax disc, the following information will be helpful.

 

  • You will have to arrange payment for the release of your vehicle. Please telephone 020 8885 5570 between 8am and 5pm Monday - Friday.

  • The fees to release the vehicle are as follows.

 Within 24hrs

£100

+ £160 Surety
or a valid tax disc 

After 24hrs 

£200 

+ £160 Surety
or a valid tax disc 

 Storage

 £21 Per Day

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The surety fee is refundable if a valid tax disc is produced at the vehicle pound or DVLA Local Office within 14 days of the release of the vehicle.

IMPORTANT

  • Payment can be made in Cash or Debit Card only.

Proof of identity is required with the following documents

  •  Drivers License or Valid Passport

  •  V5 Registration Document
