If your vehicle was removed from the public highway because it was without a valid tax disc, the following information will be helpful.

You will have to arrange payment for the release of your vehicle. Please telephone 020 8885 5570 between 8am and 5pm Monday - Friday.

The fees to release the vehicle are as follows.

• Within 24 Hrs £100 + £160 Surety or a valid Tax disc.
• After 24 Hrs £200 + £160 Surety or a valid Tax disc.
• Storage cost £21 per day.

The surety fee is refundable if a valid tax disc is produced at the vehicle pound or DVLA Local Office within 14 days of the release of the vehicle.

Payment can be made in cash or with a debit/credit card.

Proof of identity is required with the following documents

• Drivers License or Valid Passport.
• V5 Registration Document
